We collect email addresses from those who communicate with us and/or login to use bitHound services. bitHound will use your provided OAuth credentials to provide a list of repositories for you to analyze. bitHound will not clone, inspect, or analyze any of your repositories unless analysis or pull requests were explicitly requested by you, or via another user with appropriate permissions to said repository. Permissions are determined based on the access settings that are set on by the provider.
bitHound uses both Read and Write access that are provided by your provider's OAuth credentials. While most of bitHound only uses Read access, some features require Write access. This includes but is not limited to Pull Request creation. For more information on Bitbucket's authentication scopes please see here. For more information on GitHub's authentication scopes please see here.
